Duell & Company, Inc. is seeking to sell, lease, or monetize 16 Onyx (marble) load mining claims. These claims are each 600 feet by 1500 feet; each with a depth of onyx reserves of approximately 35’ 8”, totaling approximately 330 acres. These claims have a long and well documented provenance and have been conservatively estimated approximately at or above $4,740,000,000.00 USD

Located in Mayer, Arizona, an area known as the “Big Bug” mining district. These claims had begun to be quarried in the beginning of the 20th century under the name "Yavapai Onyx Mine", however were abandoned during the Great Depression. There have been several attempts to reinstate the mining operations, however these rare ONYX deposits remain largely untapped. It has been estimated that the 16 claims which will produce enough high grade Onyx, second grade onyx, gold, copper, silver and flagstone for 100 years of uninterrupted mining.
A Long and Documented History Duell’s mines are located in Mayer are located 27 miles from Prescott, AZ. The deposit was first discovered in 1889 and the high grade onyx was described in detail in a 1925 report by geological engineer W. J. Lewis. The mines were worked until the demand lessened due to the Great Depression. These great quantities remain unexploited to this day. These great quantities remain unexploited to this day. Geologist Sam E. Arbuthnot notes that “It is the only known formation of what is often called honey onyx, capable of producing slabs for use in architectural facing and countertops, or statuary in heroic scale.” This kind of high grade onyx is difficult to find and extremely valuable. The 1925 geological report states that “The value of onyx lies not only in the fact that workable deposits are very scarce, but in the beauty and exquisite texture of the stone.” Duell’s claims hold such quantity of high grade onyx that it would take over one hundred years to mine it fully.

In Ground Assets Estimates:
Duell’s mine claims #1 through #16 are 600 feet by 1500 feet each totaling 330+ acres. Based on the geological reports, the mining claims would contain:
- 2.5 million tons of high grade onyx
- 3.5 million tons of second grade onyx
- 5 million tons of conglomerates
- 1 million tons of flagstone
Duell mines are not limited solely to high grade onyx.
They also contain
gold, copper, and silver.
One study showed 3.5 million tons of second grade and 5 million tons of conglomerates which could be crushed and used for terrazzo and roofing. Arbuthnot estimates that these two products alone add nearly $2,000,000,000.00 USD to estimated profits.

“The facts established... describe a property which is real and merely waiting to be exploited as a tremendous asset.”
